After reading over 600 submissions from across the world, ten short stories have been selected for the 2021 Author of Tomorrow shortlist across the three age categories.

The ten shortlisted writers will get to work with an editor before their stories are published as part of an anthology created by global literacy charity Worldreader. Available in Worldreader's open library, the book will be available to anyone, anywhere in the world, with internet. Visit read.worldreader.org on a mobile or tablet to access the library.

An additional 81 writers have been commended for their work. Find out more about all the stories below.
