Cedrych's Journey by Marni Pedrick is shortlisted for the 2022 Author of Tomorrow, 11 and Under.
About Cedrych's Journey:
When Cedrych finds himself devoid of sugar for his much needed cup of tea, he has two choices; he could go without sugar for weeks (shudder!) or he could embark on a quest to reach the trader on the opposite banks of the river and therefore get to his sugar early. He chooses the latter and begins the trek to get his beverage essential.
