An interview with Sharvil:

WNSF: What is your favourite book?

Sharvil: I don’t have a single favourite book, but the best have to be the Percy Jackson series.

WNSF: Who is your favourite author? Or one who has inspired you and why?

Sharvil: Rick Riordan is my favourite author as he made my favourite series.

WNSF: What is your favourite subject at school?

Sharvil: Maths, because I love problem solving.

WNSF: What does ‘adventure writing’ mean to you? Why did you choose to try your hand at an adventure story?

Sharvil: I usually write stories that have quite big storylines, which are very similar to adventure stories, however I never really remembered the first time I actually wrote one.

WNSF: If you could ask an author anything, what would you want to know?

Sharvil: What would you consider is your best book and what makes it your best?

WNSF: Who would you consider one of your heroes and why?

Sharvil: My mum is my hero as she helps me with everything.

WNSF: What is the most adventurous thing you would like to do, or place you would like to visit and why?

Sharvil: I would like to go to Africa as there are many wild animals there, which I like.

WNSF: Where do you find inspiration for your stories?

Sharvil: I don’t really get inspired by other events- instead, ideas just come to me.

WNSF: If you could time travel, where would you go and why?

Sharvil: I would like to go back in time to Ancient Greece as I found Greek mythology interesting.

WNSF: What three words would you use to describe your story?

Sharvil: My three words are: raindrop, special and truth.

WNSF: Good luck, Sharvil, and congratulations on your brilliant story!
