We’re thrilled to announce the winners and shortlist for 2025's Author of Tomorrow Award.
With hundreds of entries pouring in from talented young writers around the world, the competition has been fierce - and inspiring. These ten young writers have taken us on unforgettable journeys, proving that the future of adventure writing is shining bright.
All ten shortlisted stories will be digitally published on Booksmart by Worldreader, where they'll be available to readers across the globe.

In the 11 & Under Category, for stories up to 500 words.
The winner of the 11 & Under Category will receive £100, as well as £150 book tokens for their school.
In the 12-15 Category, for stories between 1,000 and 2,000 words...
The winner of the 12-15 Category will receive £250, as well as £150 book tokens for their school.
In the 16-21 Category, for stories between 1,500 and 3,000 words...
The winner of the 16-21 Category will receive £1000.
